i wouldve epoxied a piece of mdf to the back wall, or mounted them to the back of the box. now you have permanent holes, but w.e. not my truck.

i already have had holes in there from the amps i mounted myself. there small. you take them out you cant even realize it. no big deal... 8 more holes will not hurt.

i dont know what you mean with the mdf, but mounting to the box no bueno, have a feeling my system will be ripped off eventually, they take the box, they got more to work with behind it, instead of your idea, they take the box they just got two amps with it.

i was gonna do this until i found out i need a new truck. i was gonna get a piece of mdf, and contour it with a router to make it fit my back wall, and epoxy it on there. that way itll help with the flex, keep it from rattling, and give you something solid to mount your amps on and w.e else you have.

ok. you know how your back wall is kinda "curvy"? i was going to take a piece of mdf, put it up against the wall, and mark on it where it dips in. then i was going to take my router and route where i marked where the "dips" are. then i was going to epoxy the board to my wall. done.

ya so i was really pissed off at a friend when i read this and guess i took it the wrong way sorry bro. anyways i know how to do it the correcty way with the wood but the way the box was made there is just no room to do that. right now there is only about 1/8" or so space from the back of the box to the amp so there is no room for thinkness of wood or anything else for that matter. and like grumpy stated there were already holes what are a few more gonna hurt.

had to go to my grandmas for mothers day and didnt fell like quiting so i threw the bitch in my dads hhr and took it with lol. that damn thing barely fit i had to drive like 2 inches from the steering wheel.

forgot to take the camera with so no more shots of the progress just it done

for some reason it doesnt look as bright on the camera but its pretty bright in person.
