Steve Meade's Mac for his Tahoe

Recommended Posts

Lets not forget how with a Mac, when you're installing an app you drop it in the app folder and with most apps, when you want to uninstall you just delete that app in the app folder. Granted some apps still leave stuff in other folders, but not remotely like MS does.

Oh and my Vista comment wasn't to say it was the worse. They just released a bad product at a bad time. Mac and Vista competition...If they would have released an OS like windows 7 instead of Vista, MS wouldn't have as much of a tarnished name and Mac may have had a harder time selling. (may have).

Mac's are awesome and MS is awesome, for different reasons and needs. I love the guts of the Mac though..soo clean!

there is a free app called appcleaner that will erease everything from that app and wont leave anything behind...

this ^ is exactly my point. instead of just going to find files associated with this 'app' they have to go download another one to get rid of it.

whereas i would just go into control panel, remove program and then proceed to delete any other unecessary files associated with the program.

Guest DC Power Kyle

This thread is going nowhere. It's like trying to get 180db out of an Alpine Type E sub.

Shall we start a thread about why DC is better than Fi and how Fi is worse than AQ?

Jesus.

Regardless of the which MS OS you have, if your control panel takes more than 15 seconds to open, you have too much crap on you computer and need to delete it. And that program that de-f's up your computer, it also need memory and slows the computer down and f's it up more.
