Guest
Did you try adding a battery in the trunk as well as doing big 3? reason I ask is because I had a similar problem. I had 3000watts @ .5 droping my front battery down to the 9's. So I add a XS D3100 in the back and took out the 4ga and reran everything with 1/0 wire. Now my voltage on both bats are 14.5 -14.45 when the bass is hitting hard. your sig says you also have a HO alt. i find it hard to believe that your voltage stayed at 14.5 on a stock alternator. Iraggi Alternator
Your votlage still drops to 9ish? I so, you need to upgrade wiring on your electrical or change where you have your grounds. Check your voltage directly at the alternator. BulletInjection
red tops are starter batteries, not deep cycles like the yellow tops Quote My build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...8920&st=100 http://www.youtube.com/Bulletinjection

Iraggi Alternator
There are alot more reasons for your clipping light other than voltage. I would personally use my ear instead of the light. The light may be just some gay feature that is not real accurate. I would just ignore it. You definitely need an alt tho. That would make a huge difference. Let me know if you want an alt.. I can get it out next day. What did you drive? I forget... Ill have to read post again.. LOL. Iraggi.. not yet i have to wait until pay day to order my alt an the batt for the back an more wiring an irragi (spelling) it dont drop down to 9 but maybe like between 10 an 12 an i really hate the clipping meter on my amp bc it goes from green to amber all the fucking time when i slam hard so i dont turn it up as high either bc i dont wanna mess my subs or amp up do u think with the new alt an batt an big 3 i would be able to turn my gian up more an not get clipping
Iraggi Alternator
starting vs deep cycle.... You wont notice any difference between the two in your system. I wouldnt sweat that. You have other issues to take care of. Dom
