TritonBoulder47
There is an easier and cheaper way to do it... Just get a diode and put it between the two relays in your underhood power center... Here's a PDF file of how it's done with myu Avalanche... PDF File You'll need to use diode #2. That will give you your High-4... I used to use those relay kits before I found this method... Works great and is way cheaper... Loudcav
the lazy mans high 4 kit is to just hold the switch in that kicks on your highs
TritonBoulder47
the lazy mans high 4 kit is to just hold the switch in that kicks on your highs Except in newer cars, that wont work... BTW, here's my truck with my High-4... But when I feel like I need a little more light, I turn it up a notch... Loudcav
O/T but I wonder if that would work with my '96 Grand Prix... single high/low bulb or one for each? Edited November 1, 2009 by Loudcav
white4d96
single high/low bulb or one for each? all separate. 9006's for lows, 9005's for highs, and IIRC 889's for fogs. Quote Too many projects, too little time...
white4d96
Hate to be threadjack but how do you know which pins/prongs/whatchamacallits to bridge with the diodes? I mean, in this application it's spelled out for you but I haven't found much in regards to my car... Quote Too many projects, too little time...
