hifihillbilly Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 4 cubes is a bit small for my liking, id rather go for closer to 6 cubes go 6 cubes then... just shorten the port 11 inches and it'll still be tuned at 32.... u gain .5 db.... hardly worth the extra wood....

hifihillbilly Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 Alrighs Ill go with 4 then for sure, but what do u recommend doignt to figure out the port size and hertz? build ur box 25x25x17 tall those are INTERNAL dimensions im sorry i forgot to mention that earlier.... port is 14.5 wide 3 high 26 long.... you will half to bend the port just measure from the center to get the correct lenght....

ben29555 Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 if you have 6 cubes or more avalibale y not get an 18" wouldn't put a 15 in a huge box like that and then putt 1500 rms on to it my 18 is in a 6 cube box with an ap 1500 ( gains set with an oscope) and it still get warm sometimes My Build Log loud bass songs
