Marlo Stanfield
Very nice pick up and I'm sure that you'll be very happy with the setup. I really wouldn't suggest having any sort of long runs with the 4ga even temporarily. If you desperately have to hook it up then do so at a higher ohm load(instead of 1ohm, just run it at 4ohm until u get the 1/0ga wire). Quote 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... Guest
as long as you dont exceed the current rating on the 4 gauge i dont see why not. i think 150 amps is the max you can pull on legit 4 gauge
scfaust
ive melted wire doing that so now i dont run shit unless i have the right stuff Quote http://i720.photobucket.com/albums/ww203/scfaust1/alphadamp.png
Marlo Stanfield
as long as you dont exceed the current rating on the 4 gauge i dont see why not. i think 150 amps is the max you can pull on legit 4 gauge x2 but at 1ohm he will be pulling wayy more than 150 amps. Even at 2ohms the 3000D will prolli either be over 150a also. This was the reason I told the OP for the time being just run it at 4ohms if the sub is a D2. Quote 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer...
