pmpnu2 Posted November 1, 2009 Report Share Posted November 1, 2009 (edited) ok guys, i know there are some guys on here that know their shit whhen it comes to this stuff... im thinking about attempting to install my alarm in my blazer. its a 2001 xtreme. what all do i need for the installation? are there any extra modules i need for the remote start to work? where can i get a wiring diagram? ive never attempted an alarm before and im kinda nervous but i want to learn how so i dont hav to depend on a shop to do my alarms. i appreciate any help... the alarm is a viper 5900 w/ remote start. thanks again EDIT: i had this on a 2003 taurus and i havnt touched it since i took it out of there. i cut all the wires where they were soldered into the factory wires. i dont know if that is relevant or not but i thought i would mention it.
