I didn't realize till I got them that the door speakers are a lot deeper then my old ones, and didn't fit in the doors. So I got some like 1/2" spacers. That worked. Now I'm having the problem that they are pushed up against or hitting the door panel on the inside. I could get kickpods, but I don't want to spend a whole lot and I might get a new car in a few months. Looking for some decent 6.5" speakers that are pretty shallow, yet sound as good as the ID's. I will be running these with the ID tweets and crossovers. I want to keep it to under $100 if possible, $150 max for a pair. Any ideas? Quote My Youtube Page. They look in the picture like they might be thin, but there isn't any specs on mounting depth and I couldn't find them on their site.
