What should I do on my day off??

Recommended Posts

Well I'm about 4 1/2 hours already into my day off and was thinking about what I should do for the remainder of the day. I live in Ft Lauderdale, FL and I just checked the weather report, it's suppose to be sunny with a high of 86 today.

My thought was just to pick up a female friend of mine this morning and head down to Key West for the day, then drive back up later that night. I wanna take a nice long drive in my new car but Key West is about 3.5hrs away from me each way, but Key Largo is only 1.5hrs away. Another idea is just to go into Miami and chill out on south beach scouting the broads and just have a good time. Have a couple buddies down there, beach during the day and then head back at night to party it up. That's only like a 25min drive but I'll end up blowing the same money I would on the long drive to Key West.

Last option would be to drive over to my buddies shop in Naples(1hr 45min drive each way) to go trade him my 2 15" HCCAs + 2 15" Mojo quad coils(older model) for a pair of BNIB 15s he has that I want. Either a pair of 9515g w/ kevlar cone + stiff suspension or 2 15" TC 5200s he just finished reconing.

Things just going through my mind all night and can't figure out where to go/what to do. All of them have their positives and can't decide what to do.

Go get the 9515g's

Its always sunny and warm down there lol. You can take a cruise to the beach anytime. Those nice subs probably wont be around long if he is selling them. I would love to have a pair of those for my build. The 5200s wouldn't be bad either.

head down to key largo for the day. come back a little early and stop by your buddies shop and pick up the subs. it's like 80 in largo already start now and you will have plenty of time for everything. you can probably even get a quicky in. :D

That would be a lot of driving but I was considering going to key west and back in the same day.. I think I'm gonna head out to Naples at like 10am, should be at the shop by like 12-1230 if I hit any traffic. I'm taking my new car or I'd hook them up and enjoy it on the way back. I gotta hold back on the drive back though cuz I know I'm gonna get the itch to make a quick lil high speed pass. Especially since the dealer that I bought the car from threw in 2 little toys, one being an Escort 9500 radar detector.

But I'm like 75% sure that I'm going to Naples though.. At like 8-9am I'm gonna call a couple friends and if any of them wanna take the boat out to do sum fishing, then im gonna go catch me sum dinner lol

Key West can be alot of fun and there are a ton of sexy broads down there, all of which are on vacation and looking to have a good time. It's awesome anywhere from early Feb to late March, the hotels are a lil more expensive then but it's worth every penny. If you ever decide to go down, just hit me up and I'll let u know sum good/semi cheap places to stay.

Where are u at though?? has to be up in the panhandle or on the GA line.
