Problems With MY HK4000d!

Check the voltage at the remote terminal on the amp. Try bridging it across to the +12v terminal and see if it stays on. I've seen this a few times, where for some reason the REM wire was like 2v below the car's voltage (for whatever reason) and the amp would only turn on if the car was running for example...
