No in the pic i seen of your 18" speaker if you are running high voltage to the speaker that high voltage will frie that i think you had like 8 or 10 gauge wire but any ways it will frie that small wire i would use 4 gauge wire if i was you. :01nocomment8so:

you do not need 4 guage speaker wire trust me. The wire he has is fine. Hell I run 10 or 12 gauge for 2500 plus watts per and its fine. never gets warm. I think you have a misconception of things.

i know what you saying bro but for one 18 we got steering wheel flex,wiper control moving crazy,but the roof is hard to move on our year trucks lol.
