skavenger Posted November 7, 2009 Report Posted November 7, 2009 so when i bought my btls dual 1's earlier this summer when new i believe both voice coils read @ 1.4 ohms on both subs..they now read .9 ohms each coil on both subs than when parrell .6 ohms?? wtf..so im curious to when i get my RF t4000 if ill be able to push em good or not due to the lower ohm loads? and is my subs gonna go soon or still ready for a beatin?....ran em off a hifonics brutus bxi-2610d, series wired the subs than parrell down to 1 ohm

Boon Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 I would say your multimeters battery is getting tired. Or it just sucks. If it doesn't say 'Fluke' (or something similar of that calibre) on the front it's probably not much good for measuring the difference between 1 ohm and 0.9 ohm. 10.x volts fo' life!
Decaf Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 birthsheets dont mean much, ull be fine with this setup so long as the proper box is built
skavenger Posted November 8, 2009 Author Report Posted November 8, 2009 birthsheets dont mean much, ull be fine with this setup so long as the proper box is built 1 box split wall 2 ports, both tuned @ 32 hertz..each sub just barely under 4 cbft net volume
