Mendietal
so i have been mostly playing lowww songs on the new subs around 30-35 hz, and the subs stay ice cold but then i play a song like young jeezys welcome back which im thinking is around 40 hz and the subs start getting hot. Im thinking its a clipped signal but why would the subs not get hot when im banging the low songs all day long, then i play that young jeezy song and they start getting hot? what do u guys say? Mendietal
louder and closer to ur peak frequency?what is ur box tuned to? what hz are ur filters set at? Box is tuned to 34 hz and the amps i have right now are two kicker 1000's and the only filter i know of on these amps i guess would be the x over frequency, and both are set at 50 hz. and it is also set the same on my head unit on the sub controls Quote (1) Dc Lvl 5 18 (1) Digital designs M4a (1) 6 cubic foot box after displacement, tuned to 30 (1) DC 270 xp alternator (4) Kinetik 1400 batteries All 0 gauge Tsunami Comp wire
