Would like to see what is the average price a legit shop will charge to fully add damplifier pro, closed cell foam, and luxury liner on floor to a 1500 truck crew cab?With labor included what should be ballpark cost?

i use to have l7's and they do not like more than there rms rating, if u r talking about the smell that i experienced to, no its not glue the subs r telling u to pull it back

how much should i pay to have a new alternator installed and have the big three upgraded? i went to my local toyota dealer and they told me they would charge 200, is that a good price, i mean my truck is toyota and i can have a pretty good guarantee that they will install it right, but is 200 to high?

Box is tuned to 34 hz and the amps i have right now are two kicker 1000's and the only filter i know of on these amps i guess would be the x over frequency, and both are set at 50 hz. and it is also set the same on my head unit on the sub controls

so i have been mostly playing lowww songs on the new subs around 30-35 hz, and the subs stay ice cold but then i play a song like young jeezys welcome back which im thinking is around 40 hz and the subs start getting hot. Im thinking its a clipped signal but why would the subs not get hot when im banging the low songs all day long, then i play that young jeezy song and they start getting hot? what do u guys say?

Just got back from getting the box and 18's installed, i have the bass boost gain and gain at half way of what i had with my l7's and damn they are already louder than my l7's. really impressed cant wait for them to break in and upgrading to memphis 4kw amp I know pics are not that good but ill get better ones when it is daylight, but the box has the big port at the top and has at least 200 si of port area and it is tuned at 34.

Finally got both should have box in truck in the next week

just ordered my 2nd xl 18 should have it by next sat then the box will be built

They will be powered by two kicker 1000's, i know way underpowered but not for long. most likely going to get AQ 3500 and power both at 1ohm They will be in a box that comes out to 11 cubic feet and has a 210 inches square port tuned to 34

just got my 18 in today and just comparing to my first setup which was 13 w7's then my second setup which is currently 15 l7's. Ordering another 18 in a week. can't wait to put new 18's in and feel the big difference.

independent (slowed by lil boosie) its on this forum, it starts off with low volume bass then it progressively gets louder and gets low smd

u mulitply the three then divide by 1728 then divide that number by the number of subs. i got this formula off the kicker box building tab on their website. its 42 inches high, 33 inches wide and 21 inches deep

the boxes dimensions are going to be 42-33-21 and im which comes out to about 8.4 cubic feet per sub before substracting displacment for subs and port, and it is going in the back of a fj cruiser all the way to where it fits through the trunk door which comes to 42 inches roughly
