87accord Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 ok well im getting ready to wire up the new subs 3 dc level 4xls 15" d2 to my two dd z1 strapped so my question to everyone is should i wire the to a three ohm load or 1.34 ohm load thanks for the help if this is in the wrong section please move new system in the works (3) DC lvl 4xls 15's (one of three are here) (2) DD z1 (done) old kenwood four ch 4 runs of 2/0 (done) ? 200 amp alt may two ??
Boon Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 3 ohms. Those amps will be much happier at 1.5 ohms each and combined they make enough power to scare the shit out of your XLs. Maybe drop to 1.34 for burps. 10.x volts fo' life!
