t-money Posted November 14, 2009 Report Posted November 14, 2009 ok im lookin at a new amp currently i have a rockford p1000.1bd. i have an 18 inch lvl 5. my options are aq- 2200d or dc audio 2000.1. my question is has anyone ever seen a birthsheet on either and what is the sq from either amp? or other amps for around this price that are good. 2002 ford focus hatch pioneer DEH-P8400bh infinity kappa 6.5 components front and rear XS Power D1200 Shuriken BT-100 audioque 120.4 2 15 inch audioque HDC3 D2 2 audioque 2200d big 3 mechman 220a alt with external regulator 479-418-3056

They are both very reasonably priced for the quality of power that they put out. I wouldn't worry about birthsheets, don't think that either companies puts them out with their amps. Birthsheets aren't really what I'd call on point with actual power output, especially after I saw a few RF sheets(for the t4000D) that had the exact out down to the exact watt(was like 4592 or something like that). Also saw on the forums prolli at least 5 Kicker KX2500.1s that had exactly 2952 watts on their birthsheet. I highly doubt that, that many amps put out the exact same number as the next. But others in the same run put out different amounts of power. To me it just seems like another sort of marketing ploy that is used for people to hope that they get the higher powered birthsheets lol. They are just sum number on a piece of paper that they rated on sum sort of bench test and not in car testing, where it will actually be running. 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer...
