Cdizzle
I am kind of in a rush... some kid is interested in my Kicker Comp VR in a ported box for 120, there is a deal going on at Circuit City where you buy one VR get one free, 150 is the cost of one. I am going to build 2 new boxes. I was looking at the specs and they are both dual 4 ohm coils so I could hook them up togther to run at 1 ohm. I am looking at this amp http://cardiscountstereos.com/catalog%20pa...ct+%23=BXI1206D Can I get some feedback quick on this amp... Thanks Cameron Quote Damn Thiefs
sean 371
It's a good, reliable amp. Sliightly overrated, but it will serve you well. I'm using one in an install this week. shooter69
I installed one on two 12" pioneer shallow mount subs. Sounds great! I believe it would work well with the CVR's. Cdizzle
The CVR's are 400 RMS each, even if this is over rated, dont you believe that it could put out at least 800 watt rms? Quote Damn Thiefs
sean 371
It'll push around 1100 Quote A couple links to some box builds: Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI, Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150 My own car builds (current setup --- under construction): Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors Subwoofer Wall
slim8605
I'm sure you can get 800 no problem. i doubt they are that over rated. i used to run a TX1505D and it got the job done Edited May 9, 2007 by slim8605 Quote 1998 Toyota Camry XLE V6Goldwood GW-S650/4 6.5sEA 200a alt2009 Lancer GTSStock
Cdizzle
Well, damn. That is deff. good enough for me, I was thinking eventually going with only 1 L7, and I think this is a good system upgrade amp to allow me to have either. Guest Nismofreak
Yah can some show me how is the hifonics overrated. Plus the company knows what they make. 23 year in business and rock at they stuff they make. Anyways that amp will push em subs nicely.
