Daddy_ Posted November 19, 2009 Report Share Posted November 19, 2009 OK I've been having this problem fro 2 day now. 2 days ago my msn wouldn't let me sign in and I kept trying but I kept getting an error. So I uninstalled it and downloaded it again and installed it. It's currently said to be installed but I cannot find the shortcut trash or anything. I re-downloaded the set up and it says I already have it installed. Does anyone know what the problem is? kl0wn Posted November 19, 2009 Report Share Posted November 19, 2009 Start > Control Panel > Uninstall A Program. Find MSN Messenger and Uninstall it through there. Then go to your program files, find the MSN Messenger file and delete it and everything in it if it's already not deleted, THEN re-install MSN. I had to do that for AIM when version 6 first came out. I don't use MSN Messenger, but thought I would post this and hope it helps ya! Anything else I should try? I checked my C Drive and Uninstalled a Program and deleted all the files and it when I run the setup for windows live messenger it says that is still installed. What can I do?
