yes thats what the system can do

it doesnt mean they will do it, many past systems have had that capability and it never happened

what past systems was upgradeable without touching the system itself

why you add that in there

cause he knows the ps2 had that hdd/network adaptors in the back you can attach. also "playstation" not ps1 had a gameshark attachment you could add also instead of the gameshark you could actually add a vcd adaptor to it. n64 had that graphics card update cartrage. xbox has online system updates. so basically most were attachments that can be plugged in or flashed. but none where you have to take it apart to attach

lol depends on what you consider an upgrade... i could chrome dip the controller case which has nothing to do with the system and it could be an "upgrade"

plus megalo why would you want to take suff apart?

agreed acord... anyone remember windows xp media center edition... it has a updated wmp player and a updated price... sounds pimp but i might as well flush my money down the toilet that way i dont waste gas

theres no such thing as too expensive when it comes to upgrades like that, because imo if you are gonna spend to upgrade then do it correctly rather then be a cheap ass ricer

The fireware changes, maybe some software.

Its kinda stupid IMO to have a console that has this untapped processing ability that you keep locked until you deem fit.  I want my whole Console right out the box.
