Amp Going Into Protection

I know theirs been multiple topics on this but I need some help with an amp I have.

I have a Power Acoustic 1000w max! amp and it's going into protection every time I give it power. I would tell you guy's what the amp is but I can't find what the hell it is. But anyways like I was saying anytime I go to turn it on, it goes into protection. I only had it wired at 4 ohms the whole time I had it. I opened it up and nothing looks blown or burnt. I seen on a thread a while back that I can test some parts in the amp in with a DMM.

Any help would be appreciate because even though it's a PA it still throws out some damn good power.

unhook the outputs...(the sub wires) and see if it powers up. along with the RCA wires. Check your ground, and power. If none of the above, I suspect foul play from the amp

That's the thing, I took it out of the car and hooked it right up to a battery and It still goes into protection. Would changing the fuses on the amp help any?

Is it a Class D or Class AB?

Either way, probably something bad in the output section...
