im looking in to getting the hifonics 1610d

the amp seems to put out monster power for a cheap price but

im still wondering about the quality

anyone ever had this amp or any hifonics?

any advise?

its good $/watt, sounds fairly nice and gets loud. i own a 2010D. slightly overrated, but you cant go wrong with it if its in your price range.

had a couple of em there not to bad for the price make sure you set the gains right especially if you run it at one ohm they have been known to clip out.

yeah i was thinking about just running it at 2 for 1000 watts

cause i thought it may be more efficient and my car is pretty small

i dont want to rip it apart

think it will push a real 1000 watts?

skip that I think Hifonics are great amps. there will always be biased opinions, but that is what I think. By the way I am selling a 2610 for close to the price you will pay for that 1610 hit me up. Just set the gains right and think about it like this, if you decide to do something a lil bigger you dont have to switch amps.

I have 5 BTL's and looking to get more so I am selling the amp. It is a great amp though. I need way more powa. lol

They will do a little less than what they are rated for, but the new BXi lines are drastically better than they were 5 years ago... Still some of the best cheap mono amps out there today.
