Would you mind if I convinced you to go with two MB Quart DSC1500.1d's? They will do a true 1500rms at 13volts where as the Hifonics does barely 1200rms at 14.4volts. The amp is made with better components all around and it is strappable so the wiring will be less of a headache and you wont have to gain match the amps.

Oh and best part is.......... They are cheaper than the hifonics lol.

A pair of them will put out over 3200rms at 2 ohms, 14.4volts.

I cant believe I got the hifonics over the dsc1500.1....... I just didnt know any better at the time.

Great amps, people just dont really know about them for some strange reason....

Ya convinced?

Garbage lol? Dude....... They are built at the same build house, and both brands are owned by maxxsonics. I don't understand why you would call the DSC1500 garbage next to a 1210D. Crack a 1210D open and compare the innards to a 1500.1d....... I am just looking out for you.

Hifonics is slightly overrated, and the DSC is more than slightly underrated. They are the same price because Hifonics can charge more for the name but 1500 is clearly a better choice.

Hell, the DSC1500.1d is more powerful(and cleaner power) than a BXI1610D. Like I said bro, just looking out for a fellow member. Who gives a fuck if the amps match. If you want them to match then order a DSC4125 lol. It does the 4x124@4 ohms rated, clean power, and you can get them on ebay for 135 new lol.

Still unconvinced?

Kevin

even if you did convince me its still not an option, the subs are only 250rms and the amp will put them at 300 each, plus i already have one BXi1210 from my old build that isnt going anywhere

Nah I understand how you would not want to switch. I just didn't realize that you already had one 1210.

I just wanted to make sure that knew that the 1210s are not linkable and the MB Quart Discuss amps are the best kept secret for the price.

What are the dimensions of your current box design or your cargo bay?

Kevin
