cvxsmitty58 Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 I have replaced all the other speakers in my jeep except for the front doors and it is becoming evident that the facorys need to go......i have 3.5 inch speaks on the dash that i fit in and the doors are crossed over with these......so basically any sort of 2/3 way 6x9 is unneeded because it only gets bass......i was wondering if i could basically get a 6x9 woofer essentially without purchasing a component set.......another thought i had was a 6.5 inch woofer and make a baffle for it .......Any suggestions as far as brand/ size?....btw they will be seeing about 45-50 rms

baggedon4s Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 cut the wires going to the doors in the kick panels, and tap them into the dash speakers. Then you can use a 2/3/4 way in the door. 99 suburban, ranger rover headlights, SS front bumper,roll pan with frenched tag, 2nd row delete,glassed dash..audio to come whenever I figure out what I want.
