So according to your theory this was a poor decision on his behalf. this is why i said it was to late no matter when you posted about hype theory.

It COULD be a poor decision, IF this idea doesn't work out. IF. Sometimes threads like this work. I know they have for jacob and his products. Sometimes they don't, like mass destruction, the SMD sub, and so on. If it's a risk rusty is willing to take, then I'd assume he's fairly confident that this new idea will work. I was looking for a little more confidence other than "we've thought of that" or some variation of that. Other's had the same sentiment (including other companies), but I catch all the heat. Seems fair.
