LOOKINFORSPL?
alpine or kenwood. the alpine has usb for flash drive but will not read ipod off of flash drive you need to buy a seperate ipod cable http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Alpine+-+Inter...d=1218060803402 where as the kenwood can only do aux input but either one are decent. i just bought a jvc hu from crutchfield (kd-a560) and pretty impressed as far as everything is still factory. but with the flash drive and front ipod, the big problem you might have is which ipod is compatable, online chat crutchfield to find out which,im not sure if this is with all hu,correct me if im wrong please
kingoftroy
I hate trying to navigate audio controls on the newer jvc's is the downfall of it. I have quite a few regular returns on the jvc saying that its slow loading mp3 cds and flash drive but i dont know if thats just customer opinions. the alpine wont even recongnize an ipod through usb you have to have the ipod cable through the connection in the back cant think of what alpine calls that connection right now. and alpine locks out the ipod through any connection other than aux also try this one....... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Pioneer+-+50W+...p;skuId=9232608 a) its pioneer so you know its decent atleast 3 rca outs c) 4 volt pre outs down fall price is higher than the others and rear usb but you can just run it to the glove box. baggedon4s
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17370_JVC+KD-HDR50.html I sell the hell outta these. The audio control are a bit to get use to compared to last years models. But the basic functions are really easy to use, it changes like 30,000 different colors you can customize. The mp3's load a little slower than say the kdr-200 does, but not too much. Ive never had the USB lag. It shows the text off usb/mp3 I always say damn a ipod when I can load a ton of music on a jump drive. It just easier for me. but Ive had the Ipod plugged to it, and you can use either the h/u or the Ipod controlls Edited December 22, 2009 by baggedon4s Quote 99 suburban, ranger rover headlights, SS front bumper, roll pan with frenched tag, 2nd row delete, glassed dash..audio to come whenever I figure out what I want.
