I have not used the KLMX but I have used the Kollossus cable and it is really good. Much larger then other popular brands. silversound
this is a pic of Kicker Hyperflex, Knukonceptz Kolossus Fleks, and I believe soundquest or something like that. From left to right is the Knukonceptz then the Kicker and then the off brand, all listed as 1/0 cable. ch0sen
soundquest looks so puny next to the kicker and kunkonceptz My current 95 Jetta Build w/ pioneer h/u 2 RD Sonance 10's with flatwind coils 2 Audiopipe apsm 1500.1s 1 Hifonics Brutus Elite 60x4 1 XS d925 1 Stinger spv35 1 1000 amp lead acid 50 ft of 0/1 ofc from Audiotechnix all powerbass components, and coaxils, 4 sets buildlog = http://www.stevemead...2-rd-10s-build/ My build for my wife. http://www.stevemead...01-f-150-build/
silversound
soundquest looks so puny next to the kicker and kunkonceptz yes it is, it is hard to tell in the pic but I believe that the KK wire is just as large or larger then the Kicker. I am using both right now but if I had to buy more it would be the Knukonceptz. Oh I also have some Stinger 1/0 and it is smaller the the Knu and the Kicker. ch0sen
Thanks for the advice man, i'm gonna be running that audiopipe sooner or later, but i have an power acoustik 1920 i'll be using till i get the other one. Gonna be running 6 audiobahn 12 inch se natural woofers, rated at 400 rms, but more like 250-280 range. Should i run 10 or 8 gauge power wire to the subs as well or will 12 gauge get the job done? newls1
I just got done running about 100FT of that KLMX KNU wire in 2 trucks. Stuff IS VERY VERY THICK! Really should be called 2/0 cable, but since it is 90% alum, I guess they needed to make it larger then common 1/0 wire so it could carry an amperage worth a shit. I like the wire, but I DONT like how skinny the outer cover is. Seems rather thin for my liking, but for 1.75$ a foot, really makes it attractive. I have some soundquest 1/0 wire as-well, and this KNU KLMX wire makes it look like 8ga LOL! I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny
