even if it got built in the trunk it might be hard droppin the sub in
Exactly what i was meaning if you had it all built up and nice looking you couldnt push the sub back in the box so it is better for you to just minus off some inches but once you got the sub in the box then put it in the trunk dont forget your wire turminals id use pretty decent size bolts for terminals just drill holes and put them in the hole and tighten up on the inside if you know what i mean its very hard to explain imo

40hz my ass. you can tune lowwwwww on a BTL with ease. also if youre going ported make sure the trunk has some air flow, if its up against the wall on every side its not gonna be very good.

IMO even if you some how manage to get the 18 and the box in there its going to be suffocated and youll never really see the full potential of it. Plus the fact that your box will probably end up being too small for the sub just to make it fit into the trunk, its just going to be too much work for too little result.

A 15 would work much better.

yep yep, alright I see what u guys are saying, so I really should tell the guys to make the box as big as possible that can fit in the trunk, plus the port will be facing inside the car, so plenty of air flow will get in.
