siucsaluki11 Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 4.3L I fill up maybe once every 2 weeks and note its around 15 miles to get to a store, taco bell, etc lol. Only thing ill say, i work a bit over 30 miles from home. When i had the blazer, i needed 2 tanks a week usually. With my lancer, a tank lasts a week. There was a point i was spending about 120 a week in gas with that thing. 01xtreme Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 2wd...and im assuming 2.2l? Blazers never came with a 2.2L My opinion would be a blazer. Mileage isnt great, but Im pulling down a solid 17mpg city with a wall, 4 extra group29 batteries amp subs etc, probably an extra 600 pounds it totes around everyday. I get around 22 if I am driving highway mileage. Of course my blazer is a 5 speed, so that hels out some. siucsaluki11 Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 Exactly...im filling up every three friggin days almost. Need to get a new damn car... Ya, spent 7k keeping her running by Apr. And the day before CFC ended my ABS light came on in a turn not on the breaks. You know what that menas, wheel bearing or speed sensor. Which means new hub, probably both, so theres 1k. 1k = just over 3 payments on a 2010 lancer. Hmm.....wasnt about to put another dollar into that car for the year aside from regularly scheduled maintenance and stereo. For some reason i thought some second gens had the same 4cyl that went into some s10s. Quote 99 Jimmy SLT 4WD Systemless. 99 Grand Prix GTP DC XL 12 on 1.5k tuned lowwwwww.
