98crewcab Posted December 13, 2009 Report Share Posted December 13, 2009 alrighty then....last box was just wasn't cutting it as far as the lows went. dropped off on most of the songs out there. was tuned to 40hz. all the details..... blowthrough in a 98 chevy crewcab. 4 type r 12's. 3000rms to them at 1 ohm. enclosure is- double layer 3/4". so 1.5" mdf. outside dimensions 64.25 wide X 19 high X 21.75 deep. subs and square port forward. port centered, 2 subs on left, 2 subs on right. common chamber. tuned to 34hz with 8 wide X 15 high X 17.34 deep. comes to 10.63 cubes total volume, and with port volume drops to 9.07cuft.
