Soulman07 Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 I thought about it myself.. my truck has 4x6 in dash speakers... I'm going to make a plate and have them stick out a bit so I can put the grills over them. With factory 4x6's they aren't very beefy and they don't really have a ton of mounting depth for aftermarket speakers. I don't know how it is in your situation as far as mounting them go though.
