my JL audio 250/1 problems

so i think my amp went out today.. well first off the amp turns on but then all of a sudden the "LOW OHMS" light turns on.. what does that mean???

i have them hooked up on some 4 ohms speakers.. and it still does it.. well ill go back and double check thanks

he never said if he had dual 4 ohm speakers.

swat, what speakers do you have? model #'s would help tremendously

i have two p2 8" 4ohm speakers

pull the speakers out and try a just one, or a different speaker.

i almost guarantee that you wired them in parallel and put it to a 1 ohm load.

you probably have them wired like this

but you need to take them out and rewire them to this configuration
