LOL if your subs are over heating then you have other issues, like you are trying to push them too hard. To answer your question it will not help your subs. Class A/B amps run hotter than Class D subwoofer amps and there are still quite a few Class D amps that have fans built in or don't have a fan and still need one. Plain and simple, if your amps are shutting off and they are very hot to the touch when they shut off then you most likely need a fan on them.
