Recommended Posts

well im tired of my crappy 2cuft box with no port area on my little 10" Type Arghh.

ive been playing around with the design calculators on the dynamix site and this one seems to fit pretty nicely.

edit: i dont know why but 16.3sqin of port per cubic foot seems like alot to me.

the 16 sq in of port per cube was fine i just dont like that 1.25 wide port on this new design. i'd never do that

drop the height and widen the port if you have to, having a thin slit port is screaming for port noise

so you think my original design is pretty much as good as its gonna get? i mean alpine's specs for that sub is 1cuft with a 1" by 11" port tuned to 36hz. so i think im pretty close but with more port area
