ty_houston Posted December 25, 2009 Report Share Posted December 25, 2009 its not like you had some average subs and then went to SMD's....you had Fi BTL's, some of the best 18's in production, and the SMD's are straight shittin on'em!.....that's insane..6600 watts per sub on music....insane, I've watched that hair trick vid at least 30 times and every time I get to the end and see the excursion on those subs, a smile comes to my face. I can only imagine how you must feel.. Awesome subs, great vids, keep up the insanity! To many people blame the woofer when they have the worst mids and highs ever You cant just plug in a sub even in the best box and go "wow what great SQ". Its about the entire package. Mine OBVIOUSLY isnt an SQ setup but it does sound great and the woofers are about 30% of the equation Now when i hit the "throttle", that ratio changes a little Yeah I'm sure. I was just wondering because when I upgraded my SX to my XL it was a big difference with the same box, power, wiring...etc. the sound quality was just a lot better and it got a lot louder.
