I just got this nifty little USB audio interface for christmas today, and am trying to decide if I will get a cleaner signal out of the RCA outs or the headphone out. Here is the specs on each:

RCA Outs:

RCA unbalanced

Output impedance: 400 ohms

Max output: 2 dBV

Headphone out:

Output impedance: 50 ohms

Max output: -2 dBu

Which out would I get a cleaner signal out of?

I doubt you'd notice a difference, but I'd go with RCA.

exactly what "interface" did you get, and what type of item are you trying to hook it up too (car radio, home stereo, computer) and whats the brand and model.

Most likely RCA will be best, but its hard to say with so little info listed.
