TheDave
Factory Mids/Highs? Here's my thing: I had the "Monsoon" system in my car - and I thought it sounded decent, better than a stock radio in a Civic or a Cavalier but nothing compared to an aftermarket system. So after putting subs in and amping the factory mids/highs they sound completely different and sound great. I know I could get it louder by upgrading to aftermarket speakers but just by putting an amp on the factory speakers I can tell a night and day difference. Has anyone here just amped their factory speakers before changing up to aftermarket ones and noticed a big difference? I don't usually pound on my system and the speakers seem to be holding up - so I don't think I'll be upgrading any time soon... But what are your thoughts?
