I like the MAxxsonics one because of the knob and clipping like but it seems the Clarion is easier to adjust if needed. If it's just for your subs, get the maxxsonics. You will be able to better tailor the sound of the bass for what you want. My Youtube Page. I only have an amp to the subs right now and in the spring, am going to be getting new 6.5 s and 6x9's (RF Primes possibly? Any thought's on these?) and in the spring most likely a 4 channel at 50 - 60 RMS. I'm leaning more towards the Clarion since it has inputs for F & R also. Another question. If I got BOTH, could I run the sub from the HU to the Clarion THEN to the Maxxsonics then to the amp? Would that work or would it cancel and make a mess of things? BTW, MAxxsonics = US amPs? MB Quart? Or is that Maxxsonics a different company?
