andym85
first off...are these aeros or just pvc? second off...that tunning will never happen with 4 ports..its impossible thirdly....too many ports with 3 6" ports each 22" long, tuning would be around 37.5hz with two 6" ports each 11" long, tuning would be around 37.5hz if it was me....i would use two 6" aero ports...but thats about $80 Quote i likes me some audio stuff... Sampsonite
If they are just circle ports with no flare, you can do 4 @ 25.5" long, and you can block one of the ports off for ~33hz If they are flare ports, how big is the outter part of the flare? Edit: Andy beat me to it. I wasn't going to suggest 4 flare ports. Definately too much port area. fox_racin4
its 4 6 inch sono tubes not flared i was told 20 inchs long for the 4 of them and that will give me a 38 hz tune and about 15 1.2 sqaure inchs of ort per cube i was told these sups like lots of port area as well Quote 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
andym85
four 6" ports each 20" long will put tuning at about 46hz...with almost 20sq" of port area per cubic foot...too much imo..and too high tuning Quote i likes me some audio stuff... fox_racin4
alright the calculator i used said 4 6 inch 24 long will be 38 but could be wrong so what will i need to get the 38hz tune? id like to use as much port as possible and keep the length under 24" id also like to beable to plug a port and bring tunning down will 3 or 2 6 inch ports be enough? andym85
four ports would have to be super super super long to bring tuning to 38...its not possible....im talkin over 50" long...lol and like i said ealier: with 3 6" ports each 22" long, tuning would be around 37.5hz with two 6" ports each 11" long, tuning would be around 37.5hz Quote i likes me some audio stuff... fox_racin4
alright ill give the 3 of them a try what will it bring it down to if i plug one of the ports? andym85
i dont get why u are pluggin a port...all that does is bring tuning down, reduces port area, and adds displacement to the box... if u want the most port area..use three 6" ports each 22" long and be done with it....
