Do I Have A Stout Enough Electrical System?

Recommended Posts

i think i'm fixin to do your #2(2xhc800's).

I am actually leaning towards this option because of their size, and my lack of space.

My System:

Pioneer AVH-P3200BT

4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors)

8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash)

1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs)

2-18" BTL's (for now)

Crescendo 3kwp (for sale)

Complete rebuild coming soon...

my d1200 is not even an inch bigger than the hc800 (i know cz i had size concerns when i was lookin for a battery) and it puts out 1200amps instead of 950 like the kinetik

for the price of a redtop you could get a HC800. heck it's got more CCA's than a redtop.

hate to split hairs, but this is incorrect. A more realistic competitor for the Redtop would be the KHC1800... The amp number given on the Kinetik is not it's CCA value...

I have decided to run 2 HC800's. The order will be placed on payday (friday). Than I can finally turn my gains up on my amps without hitting 9 volts.

the redtop will eat the hc800 for lunch.

How do you think that? The HC800 is supposed to have 950 amps, where as the red top has either 900, or 1000. Unless I am mistaked that makes them fairly similar, but I chose the 800s because of their small size. I hope to install them this weekend...maybe.
