jcrazyjj Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 alrighty. i drive a 1997 bonneville sse with the bose system. i hate it. it sounds horrible. there is 0 tunability to it. i was looking at a Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X693 because my cd player doesn't work and i like the idea of having both the USB and AUX capabilities. After reading all the awesome reviews for it, i decided to buy it. it should be here on the 5th installed on the 6th. haha. Considering the car has its original 13yr old speakers in it still... i realize there is gonna be some left to be desired even after the HU upgrade. i figured i might as well just bite the bullet and do all components and amp em. the car had 5.25's in the front doors and 6x9's on the rear deck. i was thinking of these in back and these up front with this amp. if you guys have any other better suggestions i am all ears. just try to keep it in the $400-450 range.
