*1LOWSUV*
Whats your choice of Compressor? I had the AZ's but had nothing but problems from the get go. Switched to the Viair and seem to be fine. Quote [email protected]

meade916
i have to mention that i heard teh 450 and 550 (a few years back) were the ones that had teh most problems. I also heard they have gotten better since then so i think you should have better luck. Plus, the "duty cycle" on them is everything. If your doing nothing but running them constantly then heat may cause them to fail over time. I know that ill be putting a fan or two on even my little compressor cause that lil bitch gets HOT.....shut down hot - after running constantly working on my digital system it will overheat and go thermal for a few minutes without the fan. (got one rigged up just aimed at it while im tweakin the system and its running so much.) *1LOWSUV*
I have 2 Viair 480's now, I hear there the lesser of all the Viair evils. ;D The Thomas compressors I have been running have taken a beating. I don't even use a pressure switch anymore, just a on/off switch in the center console. Quote [email protected]

Eric suicidedoors.com Made a big difference when we swapped out the Thomas'. Very quick re-fill time now and even with this Valley heat they're hanging just fine.
