ISO
Jon, with the changes in the newer Resolution and QS componets, the midbass really picked up. So we felt like we could do away withe SSMB's. Nothing is on the drawing board at this time to re-introduce any midbass specific. Another option if you feel the need, is the CVT65 So its sounding like the new mids must be very competent drivers. I like the sound of that as I'm a Morel fan and I think I noticed that Morel doesn't really classify their drivers as midbass or midrange drivers because of what they are capable of as far as frequency response and output goes. Morel just calls the majority of its 4 to 9 inch drivers "woofers". It means alot to me when a 5 inch driver can excell in low frequency extension, then play all the way up to and past 4,000 hertz and sound unbelievable the whole time doing it. And it sounds like you guys are working to design a component set/4,5,6 and 6.5 inch drivers/woofers that will meet my critea. LOL you might keep me longer than I thought. I may send an Email to you to get some frequency response graphs on the RS 5 and 6 and the QS 5 and 6. Tracy I have been feeling a comeback from Kicker for quite awhile and I have a funny feeling that the next couple of years are going to prove me rite. Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one. "Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak; sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go." Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. The Destruction of a person builds character.
