Decaf
Any one of you guys know how to calculate for round ports? I wanna see why everyone praises them over solt! its not round, its aeroports two main reasons they can be louder 1) more efficient with the flare, so less turbulence and more pressure exiting the box 2) flared mouth increases surface area so port acts as if its tuned higher but the efficiency of the flare allows for more airflow, so low end can be improved just as much but they cost alot imo, so i stick with slot ports

Just an idea. sure it is, but the advantage is not because its a circle, its using flares so if u dont use flares, or mount the pvc on the inside and roundover the mdf flush than there is little advantage u can use the calculator on psp-inc.com (the makers of aeroports) they have an option for straight length circular ports http://www.psp-inc.com/tools.html
