You will need quite bits of resin but it worth making the fiberglass solid like rock... Building The Best.....Repairing The Rest The bitter after-taste of a poor quality job will last far longer than the sweetness of that cheap price! My Pillar pods are almost 1/4" thick... More than enough for a 5.25 comp set crossed at 100hz.
