Lowroll Posted January 18, 2010 Report Share Posted January 18, 2010 My dad bought a 98 Yukon recently and some of the bulbs behind preset buttons 1,3,4 & 6 balance, & fade are out. He was wanting to know if the HU could be taken apart & the bulbs replaced. any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Current System: Pioneer 6900 HU Front Stage: (for now) Soundstream tarantula 5.25 in the doors Soundstream tarantula 4x6 in the dash Kenwood 400.4 for mids & highs Bass: 4 Soundstream RW-12's 2 Power Acoustik Stax 4000/1D's single chamber box, 2.65 cubes. I would honestly save the hassle and just buy a new aftermarket HU considering its night and day difference but thats just me also before you go taking it apart try lightly flicking the buttons that are out. it works if the bulbs still work and just lost connection because of vibration Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
