I Have a 2002 Focus Sedan and I have read about someone doing a Sealed box in their ported trunk.I was wondering if this would be similar to a bandpass box? I am Running a 3 cube box with 4 Sony Xplod Subs on 900 watts rms. How would this setup sound? How would figure out the Frequency to tune to? Thanks , Jake hopeful noob
cqtama Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 yes that woukd work similar to how a bandpass box would work. the only way to find out how it would souns is to try it. but i can tell you that porting through the rear deck will be louder since your allowing some air to actually pass into the cabin of the vehicke. as faras tuning goes first you need to figure out the volume of your trunk R.I.P '01 blazer you treated my ears well until your transmission blew up. merk_master Posted January 18, 2010 Author Report Posted January 18, 2010 Ok my next question is : I have Fold down seats , Should I put a piece of 3/4" MDF up to fill the opening and add a Round PVC Port ? Would that be better than just leaving the seats down? hopeful noob
