mojo24 Posted September 23, 2006 Report Share Posted September 23, 2006 I got 2 12" memphis mojos in a ported 5 cu.ft. enclosure @ 45Hz and a Hifonics XX-Colossus II along with a Kinetik HC 2400 and of course zero gage and a good glide touch alpine deck.... anyways when i play music its loud as hell i got a trunk car...94 T-bird and i can pull off hair tricks... but when i play the extremely low bass which the box loves... the amp goes on protect.... wtf idk why the volts are the same as if it was playing a little bit higher bass.... the subs are dual 2 ohm and i got a 2 ohm amp so its wired right trust me... i do need to upgrade my alternator but why would only the extremely low bass turn it on protect right away and not the anyother bass when the volts are the same............. my second question is if i put this same setup in a 02 yukon which is pretty much the same thing as a Tahoe would it be just as loud???? or would i have to go with a smaller SUV... any favorties?
