superdave07 Posted January 24, 2010 Report Posted January 24, 2010 I have two 600-2s. They have always been ran together, one of them makes a loud pop through the woofer when u turn it on, off, or change song...and at low volume the woofer moves its full excursion back and forth really slowly. I've taken this amp to my local audio shop and had it bench tested. They say theres nothing wrong with it. But it doesnt seem to matter, what car, head unit, subs, wiring ect...does the same thing. even if the rca's arent chained together, it still does this. As far as i can tell, when u listen to music normal, it isnt hurting the woofer, but doesnt sound pretty turing on or changing the song. I took the cover off, it seems ok, no burns or hot spots, broken connections ect...maybe a ground issue? Anyone has an idea or suggestion? thanks Super Dave Xterra * 69 Camaro * Audi S5 36 Ford * 51 Mercury looking for wire sponsor www.flyracing.com

Boon Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Seen this in 2 cases before... bad ground and maxed out gains. Check both. Loud pops usually mean bad ground though. 10.x volts fo' life!
