mlstrass Posted January 29, 2010 Report Posted January 29, 2010 The AQ3500 was rated at 1860@2ohm at 14.4The AQ3500D.1 is rated at 2600@2ohm at 14.4 that number makes sense as I went from a single 3500@1ohm to 2 3500's@2ohm and gained .5dB's on the TL. DJ doesn't over or under rate is products. They do what he rates them at. I run the original 3500's and they're a very solid amp. In the trunk of a black car and beat on at shows doing demo's and wired down to .25ohm for metering and never had an issue. Amps got hotter from the sun beating down on the black trunk then they did from playing. New 3500D.1 should be even stronger and if I didn't have 8 of the originals I'd be buying them. Guess I'll have to wait for the BIG amp to come out...
