langsdon2 Posted January 25, 2010 Report Share Posted January 25, 2010 I just bought a Kinetik 2400. I have it ran to behind my seat in my single cab dodge ram. I have 1/0 ran to the batt and ground. My question is running two amps off of that battery could i just run two cables from the battery for power to both amps. My other question then would be if i could run the two wires off the battery for power should i downsize them to say 4 guage or would it need to be the same. Guest Posted January 25, 2010 Report Share Posted January 25, 2010 you can just run w/e wire you want off the back batt going straight into the amps, ground and power. just make sure you ground the back batt to the frame also, so the rear batt is grounded to the front batt and frame.
